NovoMix 30 is a modern insulin as rapidly acting and intermediate- effect, in 30/70. Modern insulins are improved versions of human insulin. NovoMix 30 is used to treat diabetes mellitus in adults, adolescents and children aged over 10 years. Diabetes mellitus is a disease in which the body does not produce enough insulin to control your blood sugar. NovoMix 30 will start to lower your blood sugar 10-20 minutes after injection, has a maximum effect between the first and fourth hours and the effect lasts up to 24 hours. It can be used in combination with certain oral antidiabetic drugs.
